Coverage Math
- Decorative scatter: about 0.025 lb per square foot.
- Full broadcast (reject) of 1/4" flake: about 0.10 lb per square foot. Roughly 1 lb per 7 sq ft.
- Two-car garage (about 400 sq ft) at full reject: 40 to 50 lb of 1/4" flake.
- 1/16" flake at full coverage: about 0.16 to 0.17 lb per square foot. Finer chips pack tighter and need more material by weight.
- Order 10 to 15 percent over your calculated need for waste and touch-ups.

Install Window
Grind the concrete slab to a CSP 2-3 profile. Roll the base coat in 10 by 10 foot sections. Broadcast flake to refusal within 20 to 40 minutes of the base coat going down. Scrape loose chip after 24 hours, then topcoat with a UV-stable polyaspartic. Light foot traffic at 24 hours, light vehicle traffic at 3 days, full chemical cure at 7 days.
